Hi! Is it possible to pull the solution to a system of equations out of a graphing calculator, without manually looking at the graph to see the point of intersection?

I need it to plot a point at the intersection of lines that the students are generating.

Thanks!

You could use xyLine to define the slopes and y-intercepts for each line in the graph, then define your solution in the graph. Just realize that doing so may result in some rounding errors.

(I just solved y=m1x+b1 and y=m2x+b2)

Daniel posted before I could finish, but [here was my approach](https://www.desmos.com/calculator/0cnqchtcuc). I’m not sure if you are just using the graphing calculator or if you wanted this in an activity, but it will work for both if you use the [function sink](https://teacher.desmos.com/computation-layer/documentation#component:input/graph:sink:function).

Thank you both! The combination of these two answers is what I needed.
