# Checking input and output in a table when output is calculated based on the input

I was trying to use simpleFunction to help check whether student inputs in a table are correct. I want students to be able to input whatever x values they want and based on those check/self-check their corresponding y values. I know I have to do an evaluateAt, and **Slide 3** was my closest attempt at trying to do this, but I still do not have a full grasp of the correct syntax in doing this. Any help would be appreciated!

Oh man!! cellNumericValue instead of cellContent. Thank you, I don’t think I would have figured that was the issue, but glad I was somewhat close.
