Factors with even power not visible in implicit graph

Something’s not working the way it seems like it should.

When I try to plot the graph of the implicit equation (x-y)^2*(x+y)=0 only the portion x+y=0 is visible.

When i change the power to 3 everything works fine: Implicit graph 2

Trying some other graphs shows a general pattern: even powers of factors in implicit graphs are not visible.

The implicit plotter can only find boundaries between regions where the differences of the sides of an equation changes sign, so it misses solutions that just “kiss the plane” without passing through it.
