for the chrome dino game you could use a parabola for a bit more realistic jump mechanics, and you could use a random function to vary hight/grouping of multiple purple thingies

the acceleration cant be parobolic though

no the hight can be tho some thing like y_1=-16x_1^2 where y_1 is the hight of the charcter and x_1 just moves at the same speed
something like this:
we spent like two units on parabolas in math and i never want to think of them again
i agree but they’re really good for jump mechanics.
also i took algebra last year and i remember them a little (also u can just copy my example if u want)
