Passing a function from Math Response to Graph

Sorry of this is already somewhere in another post. I promise I looked first..

I am trying to get the function submitted in a Math Response into a Graph component (and see the result). I’m sure I missing/doing something trivial. Any help is appreciated.

I don’t think you’re missing anything as far as I can figure. Seems like the sink isn’t working correctly. Investigating…

Okay. I’d forgotten there is some frustrating functionality here (no pun intended). Two options:

  1. Keep the function in the graph, but remove the =... (this can make it difficult to restyle your function’s display) OR
  2. Add another line y=f(x) with the formatting the way you want it to display

Don’t ask me why it work that way, but that should fix your issue.
