# Request for new features for the sketch component

I have been assigning students their homework allowing them to use a One by Wacom drawing tablet and a Desmos activity with Sketch components.

My personal request is regarding student feedback. I would like the option of sketching over their work, and have any of my **teacher annotations saved for the student**.  
Perhaps with the ability to hide the teacher feedback layer would also be helpful.

My students have requested the option of having an: **initialPenSize** feature, so all of their slides have the narrow pen.

I believe it would then be possible to allow students to select preferred color and size on slide 1, and copy that over to later slides using CL. But I might need the ability to set initialTool to match the tool of another sketch.
