I am wondering if anyone else is using AI to help code in CL? I have been using ChatGPT– and it is often helpful, but needs a lot of guidance– it wants to code in JavaScript rather than CL and does not seem to be able to find good documentation to base its recommendations on.
I’ve used it a bit… but since its not very “well-known” it seems it doesnt have much information on it.
You can download the cl documentation and upload it to chatgpt
Is there a pdf version of the documentation somewhere?
I would assume @Andrew_Baas made one somewhere.
Thanks for the shoutout! I unfortunately don’t have a pdf copy of either the official Desmos docs or my Unofficial CL Reference. But you should be able to tell an AI agent which websites to look at (when creating a new agent, at least I know Copilot does that), so I’d include links to the Desmos help forum, this forum, and the official and unofficial documentations to get all the features.
No problem. But that’s real sad…
I actually downloaded the CL Documentation in November (relevant to those that care about updates since) and made a Gemini Gem. I haven’t used it yet, though, so I’d be interested if others kick the tires and let me know if/how it works.
Hi Mark — I’m using the Amplify CL Coder Gem you shared, and it seems helpful. I’d like to understand the setup behind it so I can use it more effectively and compare it against another CL reference I’m working with.
Would you be willing to either:
-
give me edit access to the Gem, or
-
send me the Gem’s instructions and any attached reference files/knowledge it uses?
Even just the instructions text would be very helpful.
Thanks,
Jeff
