I am trying to show students that sine and cosine graphs can be translated onto each other. I’d like to introduce this by having them graph one graph onto the other; in this example, dragging the green cosine graph onto the black sine graph. This seems easy enough, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to attach that cosine graph (g(x)) to the draggable point (x1,y1)! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
