Me, @Guzman_Tierno, @port , and @imamathnerd are trying to document every single possible error in desmos (386, to be exact) and would like to share it!
Although we still have 69 remaining errors to document (as of right now, me posting this) I think we can get it done with more people to help. If you would like to help, you can privately message any of us your email to add you to the google doc.
If you don’t want to but just want to see it, its here.
We had a lot of fun looking for an example for each of the 386 possible errors in Desmos.
I think we made a good job and it can be helpful and useful to learn some aspects of Desmos.
There are still 67 errors that we couldn’t find an example of how they occur.
Maybe someone can help with those.
I wonder if some of these were written with a scenario in mind, but end up activating a different error message. For example, #55, “Color functions can depend only on x, y, and z.” looks like it should activate when defining a color (in the 3d graph) with a different variable, but it either (1) works because the variable is defined, or (2) prompts a different error because it’s not defined.
Exactly, this happens for various types or errors
and it makes you think if the error doesn’t ever show
or if there’s a different scenario that we didn’t think of.
It happend four or five times that we thought that
an error was not obtainable and in the end it actually was
in a different situation …
So, yeah, it’s difficult to say …
