Using a Stopwatch to time student's work

I want my students to time themselves making a table of values. I can get the timer to start/stop (thanks to someone else’s CL that I found). The intent is for the student to start the timer, fill out the table, then stop the timer note the time.

My issue is that once I start filling out the table, the timer stops. I’m getting better at CL but I think this may be a bit above my expertise so I’d love it if someone could help me learn!

Table focus resets button timers. Don’t know that there’s a way around it.
