A question on terms

Is there a difference between sinks and buckets? Do they mean the same thing?

If not, why were sinks chosen?

I hadn’t known “sink” until I started working in CL, and “bucket” until right now. Googling it appears they don’t mean the same thing. I’ll leave it to you to look up the distinction.

Oh. I searched it up and seems like sinks are like the maps for data, while a bucket is the destination.
