I’m wondering if anyone else’s Desmos Collections are being switched to private? When I go into a collection I made in the past that I had set to Public– it was turned to Private and the switch to turn it back to Public was dimmed. I was able to add a new section, save, then come back in and switch it to Public. But the next time I checked (a few hours later) it was switch back to Private. Anyone else seeing this happen?

I’m posting in our triage. Not that I necessarily think it should turn a whole collection Private, but are any of the activities in the Collection paid content?

I am not sure if any are paid content. That crossed my mind too, but turning the whole collection private seems drastic. Also, if there are paid content activities in there, anyone who access those will still get blocked I suspect.
It doesn’t appear to be related to any paid content, and is in fact a bug. There’s a ticket to fix it now. Certainly one that should be prioritized.
Someone noted that there’s a message stating “Our moderation process disabled this activity for public viewing. Please contact support if you think this is an error.”, and surmised that it may be the presence of one or some combination of your Venmo, Twitter (X), and email in the activity description.
Let me know if removing any of these remedies the situation.
Do you know which of those would be an issue? Is there anything in a use policy that prohibits Venmo or Twitter?
Probably Venmo, since the Acceptable Use Policy restricts commercial use.
