One of my students deleted four folders containing about 60 equations on another student’s laptop for his Desmos Art Activity that I had assigned as their semester exam project. Is there any way to recoved these missing equations?
The student who lost the work is devastated. He worked for weeks on this and it was pretty much done – assignment is due on Monday. I can’t find a way to look at version history or see any older changes either from my end or his.
Any advice?
You can see if someone at support can help by contacting support@amplify.com. An engineer may be able to look at student account version history, but I’m not certain that’s even possible.
In the future, it may actually be better to use Desmos calculator instead of Activity Builder, and share links. I also think recovering history may be easier.

I like the idea of doing the desmos calculator too. They could save multiple versions on that as well.
