I recently found a cool computational fluid dynamics simulation in desmos from reddit. It is in 2D using a 3D engine in desmos. Unfortunately, it is extremely hard to untangle all of the functions from the 3D engine to convert it to 3D. Anybody know of any good methods to transcribe from 2D with 3D engine to desmos 3D? There is no silver bullet. It depends on how the code is written and how it projects 3D points into 2D. It can be really entangled or it can be quite straightforward as it was for the General Relativity example that we dealt with recently. …
