I am unsucessfully trying to insert this into Desmos. Would be very grateful if someone could help me to understand how to input equation data in there.
It seems that Chatgpt and Desmos have different mathematical fonts. I dont really at this point understand mathematically the output of GPT in order to rewrite it myself,
So i want to enter with normal words into gpt on what equations I need and take that output and input it into Desmos.
Are you referring to the centered formula for R_scaled? If you mean you can’t copy-paste into desmos, you’ll just have to re-type it. For subscript, use an underscore (by the 0 key) and continue typing. Here I simply typed in the formula as described. You’ll have to also define the “base rhythm” function.
I did not get any sence out of the first one. I will try the second one. I remember (maybe it was another equation) but I tried alot last time and i got a couple of sinus waves with dots on the where the waves intersected.
Another thing you might try: Equatio is free for teachers. If you use the Chrome Extension to screenshot an equation, it will read it back to you. And then there’s a dropdown choice to copy the Latex or MathML. That will probably paste into a graph in Desmos pretty easily. I have used that feature when trying to create things in our LMS.
