I’ve seen the documentation reference it as LaTeX, but also sometimes Latex. In error messages, it’s Latex. Usually in CL people say ‘Latex’, but I’ve also seen in comments it’s LaTeX. On the official website, it’s LaTeX!
Which one of these is more professional, or are they just used interchangeably?
The official name is LaTeX but since using capital letters takes some time … it is common to simply write Latex or latex.

And apparently the correct pronunciation is “Lah tech” which really throws me off!

Not Latex, as in rubber latex? I’ve always assumed that’s how you pronounce it. Interesting and weird…
