Make a restriction to stop a parabola at intersection

Hey!
So I’m making a face on desmos, as a personal project. I found a shape that I really like for the ears (the unfinished black parabola going sideways) but I came up with a problem. How do I restrict the parabola to not go past the orange line? Thanks!

Nice work! Welcome to Desmos Classroom

One way to do this is to use the same curve you created for the face and use that a restriction itself on the ear function. You might need to tweek it a bit to make sure it doesn’t go out the other side of the face.
