I’ve been looking at patterns lately. I believe there may be an issue with the “number” feature.
According to the Using Patterns section of the CL documentation, it says that “in Desmos, a ‘number’ is a decimal, a fraction, or a mixed number.” I was looking at screen 14 of the Computation Layer Playground and noticed that it would recognize an integer, a decimal, or a mixed number as a valid input, but not a fraction.
I copied the screen into a new activity and added a note to help check. Here is a copy of that activity:
