I am crunched for time and need some help with pattern matching. Take a look at slide 2 on this AB. I want to verify that the student has entered an expression and not just the center number. Of course, any other improvements are welcome!
If they’re limited to the outer values (and the inner one is not equivalent to an outer), can you just use countNumberUsage(this.latex,centerNumber)=0? Just off the top of my head as a quick solution.
