I have a student exercise on carbon dioxide emissions and was wondering if there is way to display “CO2” with the “2” subscripted? Obviously, this would be useful in general but I can’t find any discussion of the topic.
I just googled subscript symbols, then copy paste. Looks like these will work.

Sounds promising. What location did you find?
Maybe never mind! Copying and pasting the resulting HTML into AB does not seem to work.
I think I’ve worked it out. Go to Wikipedia page on Unicodes:
Then copy from the Unicode table and paste. It seems to work okay in titles and notes, which is all I’ve tried for the moment.
