The Scientific calculator seems to have an error

Something’s not working the way it seems like it should.

If you plug an equation like -6^2 into the scientific calculator, the answer would be -36, but if you put -6*-6 you get 36, even though they are the same thing they have different answers.

You might be confusing these two:

The first of which is (negative 6) squared and the second, negative (6 squared).
