Heres my problem. The summation seems to be incorrect. I feel like it’s something i’m not understanding, but i’m asking just in case.
A similar question came up recently. Summation doesn’t assume everything following is part of it. Put 3n+2 in parentheses, and I believe you’ll get the result you’re expecting.
