Checking student sketched line

I’m looking to create an activity where students physically sketch a linear equation from point slope form and I can check correctness from it. I’ve found a CL Newsletter from @JayChow and I’m thinking Part 2 might be what I need but I can’t seem to process what to use from that to compare the student sketch to an xyLine() to show correctness. Thanks for the ideas.

Well, I think I’ve got a good start on it. I’m sure it can be cleaned up quite a bit, but it does what I need. I’ll have to test more. Still thinking on how I want to show student’s that they are correct/incorrect; I dislike just giving “yes”/“no” type feedback and prefer them to process why their answer is correct. I’ll most likely add a button that plots the actual line so they can see it against theirs.

Here’s another example of how this could work: sketch a line • Activity Builder by Desmos Classroom
