Checking whether student input is correct (beginner)

I am a beginner and am uncertain how to create a check of my student input. I simply would like to evaluate their input and create a response of correct vs incorrect.

I know this is basic, but I have start somewhere.

I believe I have established the check of the result is correct, however, I can not get the feedback to display “correct”
