Can you populate a table to be completed with an InitialLatex statement like
initialLatex: “f\left(x\right)=”
?
initialCellContent is your friend there. Don’t forget two backslashes to enter latex (although initialCellContent is pretty good at showing expressions as a student would type it).

Try this: “f\\left(x\\right)=“ or just “f(x)=“
