Hello all!
I am currently working on a vector field calculator. I have everything I need, except for one issue. I cannot seem to figure out a way to plot the slopes at given points.
What I want is a tiny line that has the slope of the derivative, plotted at a specific x and y point.

Does this get you started? Presumably you’d want to fine tune the magnitude length and make sure this works with a variety of functions. Vector Field Calculator | Desmos

How would I fine tune the length of the derivatives?
Here are three. I don’t think I created any of them. The first was created by one of my students last year.
