Summary of the students score

Hi, I’m new to Desmos and just created a simple activity. How can I track students’ scores and see a summary of their total scores at the end?

This is a practise assessment I put together from help from this forum, is this they type of thing you mean?

It depends on what you want to do with the feedback. If you want the information to be easily seen by you to assist in transferring to a grade book, I recommend making sure each slide has correctness defined for all elements, then use the Chrome extension: Desmos Dashboard Downloader.

If you’re interested in giving the students immediate feedback, I recommend defining a variable within each interactive element that changes from blank text to some kind of green checkmark when correctness criteria are met. I used to only show them correctness in a summary at the end of many slides, but after feedback from the students, I learned that they prefer to know while they are still on the same slide.

Here’s an activity I’ve started making recently that has instant correctness on the first two slides. Don’t mind the third and fourth slides, they’re a work in progress.

Good luck!

Hi, thank you for this. However, I want like the final score. For example in the last slide they will see their final score. Total 18/20 like that. Specially if there is a lot of questions, so no need to count their correct answers.

I’ve made a couple Summary Tables using standard CL and using lists. The latter can sometimes appear more complex, but depending on how much information and the number of screens can simplify other things. I tried to include a lot of comments for the structure of the lists.

Here the Summary Table without lists is still pretty readable.

You can find more about lists in this article.
