in one column I want it to say
“base\ (constant \ multiplier)=”
but what I get is
“base\ (cons\tan t\ multiplier)=”
it keeps pulling the “tan” part out of constant. I have the disableevaluation set to true. Is there anything else?

Do you need math format at all in the column? If not, the easy way would be to just set the entire column as text. I don’t think there is a way to avoid the tan being formatted differently because of the math formatting. Other words like “sincerely” (sin) or “tacos” (cos) would have similar issues.
Never saw that option before. That was exactly it! Thank you
