Update: I got recommended this related video after I posted this question, and this worked with the Geometry Tool just like she shows on the Graph tool! So, answered
Original:
Trying to create an activity where students can enter coordinates on the Geometry tool, but by using a table input for coordinates not just from clicking onto the graph.
This functionality is available in the regular Geometry Tool, but when it is added into the Activity Builder, the student screen does not give the students the expressions list to use.
Thanks! I’ll look into that. I haven’t explored the Polygon Tool in activity builder. Actually, I did also get recommended this related video after I posted this question, and this worked for what I was trying to do with the Geometry Tool just like she shows on the Graph tool. Using the computation layer in the Geo Tool to reference student generated table component.
Unfortunately, the expression list is only visible in full-screen graphs, and the geometry component doesn’t have that functionality as of yet.
Your alternative is to use a table component and use number sinks in the graph. Do you have an expectation of how many points a student can/should enter? Do you want to limit them?
Looks like you found something similar to my thought. I had started drafting this before your last response. Let me know if you could use extra assistance!
