Using student input into next slide

We are wanting students to examine linear equations and plot them on the coordinate plane. They have explored linear relationships in terms of patterns, tables and equations.

We are thinking that it could be a great next step for students to be given a linear equation in slope-intercept form, asked to identify the rise, run and y-intercept.

Could we take those three inputs, bring it to the next slide and then ask them to sketch that line on a coordinate plane like those in this activity?

If you’re giving them an equation and having them identify parts, then don’t you already have the equation you want them to graph? Maybe, just give feedback on the first, then you don’t need any fancy coding on the second (though what you’re asking is definitely possible).
