How do I have students explore with sliders but not give them access to the function in the desmos calculator. I want them to explore changes in a linear function by using a “slider” for slope but I do not want them to be able to “x - out” anything from the slide.

It would help if you posted a link to the activity. But students don’t generally have access to the various definitions you’ve set up in the graph component.

If you’re using a full screen graph, you can put any functions or variables you don’t want students to access into a folder, then click the “Hide this folder” box. You will have access while editing, but students won’t see it in their expression list.
