Creating a Table, checking matches equation

I am working on a 7th grade Proportional activity.
At our school district, we are really pushing our students to create tables.
I am hoping there is a way to check their input (x) and output (y) matches with the scenario/equation.
I don’t want to put in x values, I’d like for students to create their own, but check that what they input, is correct/matches the equation. In this case y=6x.

Can someone help me with this?
