I’m having trouble with slide 3.

For some reason, the first math input will accept a correct answer, even if the student doesn’t include a variable. The rest of the checks are working as intended and I can’t see any difference in the CL scripts…What am I missing?

The same thing works on slide 4 for some reason…

In slide 3 you have an “or”, but in slide 4 it’s “and”. And since evaluating at g=1 would be the same result with a variable as without, it’s marking correct.

That makes so much sense, thank you…I was staring at the two pages of code in a notepad document for like half an hour, scratching my head…
