Hey all! As the stores are gearing up for the holidays, I’m getting an early start on every math teacher’s favorite holiday 
This activity is a Desmos remake of several activities I’ve seen and/or used for approximating the area of a circle and pi.
- What are your overall thoughts? Are the activities set up well to help students understand “where pi comes from” and how we can find the area of a circle without relying a mysterious formula?
- Do you know other demonstrations or activities that might fit in well with this lesson?
