The text input element doesn’t respond to the readonly: true code that you can use to make an image or sketch keep from interfering with the check mark on the dashboard.

For text inputs and explain prompts, it’s expected that the teacher needs to review them, so the best you can see for those situations is a dot by design. (“It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.”) There is no readOnly or correct sinks for them. Your only alternative is to have a student answer in a table and make that readOnly.
