“Undefined” in Math Answer Box

I am using a graph, notes box and math answer box to have students identify the domain of the graph and enter it in the answer box using interval notation. Everything works (including the answer check) EXCEPT when you type in an answer with square brackets (versus parentheses) Desmos inserts “=undefined” at the end of the math answer box before you hit submit. I don’t want this there. I don’t want examples with no endpoints (hence brackets) included. Students have to learn to use interval notation (not inequalities). Anyone know how to stop this?

Type disableEvaluation: true in the input CL area.

Here is another approach that I’ve used. Interval Notation using buttons(mc) • Activity Builder by Desmos
