Unexpected screen reader text on student preview

Something’s not working the way it seems like it should.

I received a custom activity from my colleague, and immediately noticed that: in student screen preview fullscreen, there were literally like scripts (or closed captions, screen reader) appearing above and to the left of the regular graphics.
Even more interesting is that it moves with the scrolling, making me wonder if it is something that the dev tried to move those texts away but not enough, as the texts there looked like on a screen reader.

Here’s the link to the page, dashboard, or activity: (removed by qq6020)

Only happened to the labels that included math (e.g. a+b)

Hey there!

Great Catch! This looks like a calculator bug that Desmos Studio is in the process of fixing where the labels that the calculator was drawing to help with screen readers ended up on screen if your browser was zoomed out enough. There should be a fix in Desmos Classroom soon, if this persists for more than a week please let us know.
