Multiple Choice Correctness with Explanation?

Hey there everyone,

Having a bit of a mystifying time trying to understand why something is happening.

I have a mc question where i’d like the student to explain their thinking.
I can’t seem to get CL to register a correct in the dashboard no matter what I do, if I include an explain prompt.

Is this a “feature” or am I just missing something obvious?

I think because of the explain your thinking it won’t mark correct. You could set it as read only, but that still wouldn’t tell you if they chose correctly. It’s the same with a input component, I believe.

too bad, it’s an omission in state handling imo.
