Multiple Inputs text / math

I have both a text input and a math input component.
i have a self check on the math input component which works fine with out the text input.
I successfully get a gray check mark without the text input.

But when I add the text input i do not get a gray check mark.
Anyone know how to fix.

Anytime there is text input, the best you can do is a dot because Desmos is telling you that the teacher needs to interpret a written answer by a student. You should still see the X if the math input is incorrect.
