I have a Geometry project that I created for my students. It has them choosing to complete 1 proof out of 4 on a screen. My problem is that I can’t get it to mark the screen correct if they only complete 1. I have a Mult Choice question where they choose which proof they want to do, and then that proof table becomes visible when they choose it. The other tables stay hidden. I have tried marking all of the tables as “isCorrect” if that table is correct or it “isHidden”. I also tried marking all of the tables as "isCorrect if the table is correct OR if any of the other tables “isCorrect”. Neither option works. Any suggestions?
There’s some behavior where components that have correctness are not marked correct if they don’t receive interaction. Thus, setting a hidden component as correct doesn’t solve your problem.
However, you can use a readOnly that is true when the component is hidden (whatever your conditions for hiding, though I’d define a variable to use). When readOnly is true, components aren’t counted toward a screen’s correctness.
I’m giving you general direction, but if you want more specific, can you identify which screen(s) you want help with?
I don’t generally like to critique outside of questions asked, but rather than plaintext statements there are geometric symbols you can use in latex if you’d prefer. You may need to type in plaintext first, highlight and then hit ` (or the “Type math” button). Some samples of what you may find useful for Geometry:
If your text disappears (like would happen without the space in \triangleABC), something was written incorrectly. Usually an operator name lacking a space separating an alphabetic character, like the example.
