I was wondering if there is a way for Desmos Classroom activity builder to show the mean and median on a dot plot created with data. So if I got information from my class I can take that information and put that in a dot plot. I want this dot plot to also show the median and the mean. Is there a way to represent this graphically using the computation layer?
You can do all of that in graph except for setting the window bounds and aggregating the class data. This’ll work assuming a bin width of 1. There’s a slight delay with aggregation and students will see the graph change randomly as others enter data so you may want to throw the graph on the next screen and use pacing. You may want to tweak the visual a bit too.
